HRP Mamas Playful Connections Parent & Infant Class  [2-9 months]


Please join HRP Mamas and/or Papas for an enriching class for parents and their infants 2 months-9 months. This small, cozy class offers support for parents and babies to connect with each other. In this class where caregivers learn to tune in to their baby's unique cues, engage them in activities to support brain and body development and receive support from other parents. 


Each class includes brain-building movement activities and innovative sensory play, utilizing everyday household objects. Engaging activities are themed around a different sensory system each week. The classes also provide strategies for setting up your baby's environment to support their developmental needs at home. The pace of the classes is tailored to support the individual development of each baby.

The activities offered in these classes include:

• Infant massage
• Water play
• Movement activities to enhance your baby's muscle strength
• Safe scent exploration using herb baskets
• Music

 Classes will be taught by Alana Murphy MS OTR/L CLC, a licensed pediatric occupational therapist. She has been practicing for 13 years and has dedicated her career to pediatrics with additional speciality in early childhood development and premature infants. She currently works in a neonatal intensive care unit as well as in home based private practice. She is passionate about engaging parents so they can feel empowered and easeful in their parenting journey.

Space limited to 8 registrants
