The HRP Mamas New Mom Support Group II ( 4-12 months) [ EVENINGS]
Join a weekly virtual support and discussion group with other HRP Mamas of infants ages 4 to 12 months. Share thoughts and experiences about developmental stages, transitions, sleep patterns, introduction to solids, infant play. In addition the unique - and shared - experiences of motherhood through the first year will be regularly discussed.

This is an opportunity to connect weekly with a consistent core group of your neighbor moms in an educator led environment. Learn, share, and nurture friendships with other moms of 4-12 month olds while receiving guidance from our parent educator, Vanessa Aja-Sigmon.

Topics will include:

- Infant Development 4-12 months
- The mental load
- Co-parenting
- Sleep and sleep learning
- Self care in a Covid world.
- Work/Life balance
- Intro to solids

Each week new topics will be addressed based on needs presented by the group members.

The facilitator for this session is Vanessa Aja-Sigmon, M.Div., CCCE, CLC, DONA-trained Doula


About Vanessa:
Vanessa is a mother to two boys, a Certified Cooperative Childbirth Educator (CCCE) through the Childbirth Education Association of Metropolitan New York (CEA-MNY), a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and a labor support doula with the Doulas of North America(DONA). Vanessa’s background is in the community organizing and human services fields, with training in perinatal mood disorders. Vanessa teaches newborn care and parenting classes in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
